I have a pile of weekly magazines which I have read and want to donate somewhere in Vancovuer, BC, Canada, so that others can enjoy them.
I am from England and I know that at home local doctors / dentists etc accept slightly dated magazines for their waiting room for their customers.
Does anyone know somewhere in downtown Vancouver when I can pass my magazines onto? If not, I guess I'll just have to put them out for regular paer recycling.
Magazine recycling in Vancouver, BC, Canada?
Depending upon what the subject of the magazines and the condition, schools, libraries, daycares all might be interested in them. :-)
Another option is to try freecycle.org (and then follow the links to Vancouver Freecycle). There might be a variety of people interested in the magazines!
Reply:Any community center will place them in their fitness facility. Feel free to drop them off at the West End community center, I've been reading the same home decor mag for weeks now and my workouts are getting a little bland. ;)
Reply:Donate them to a women's shelter...or a school, where the kids can cut them up for collages, something like that.
