We get the large envelope of Valpak coupons at least once a month and they have all kinds of coupons in there for dentist visits, oil changes, etc. Also, we get some sort of local newspaper once a week with pizza coupons, department store ads, etc.
Do you pay attention to this stuff and use it at a later date, or do you immediately throw it away?
Poll: How often do you read or pay attention to the junk mail that you receive in the mail?
Ya,I still check them all.Not bad; sometimes you find e really helpful thing or a coupon of spendy stuff you really need.

Reply:the only thing I use out of valpak is car wash coupons. other than that I recycle the rest of it.
when I get credit card offers in the mail with a postage paid envelope, I stuff some junk mail and crap that doesn't have my name on it in the return envelope and send it back. I think it costs them 50 or 60 cents every time someone sends one back so maybe if enough people do that the credit card companies will quit sending junk mail. It also keeps mail moving thru the usps, keeping rates down if enough people do it.
Reply:I'll go through it, and then throw it away...everything in there is usually 100 miles away from where I live. even though it should be local...go figure!!!
Reply:ok valpack...yea i read and take only the restaurant coupons..hey they work..lol
Reply:give it just a little attentiom
Reply:I stamp "Refused" on it and put it back in the mailbox. It never gets more than a couple feet away from the mailbox.
See http://www.refuseyourmail.info/ for more on refusing mail.
