i have booked an appointment at my local dentist but i just wanted to see if any knew what could be wrong also it hurts when i swollow and is sore when i drink things
I have a flab of gum coming away and everytime i press on it i tast blood what is this?
Sounds like it is your wisdom teeth that are starting to erupt and have not yet fully done so. The flap of gum will go if the teeth are not impacted. I advise that you keep it clean with warm salted water as a mouthwash and keep your appointment with your dentist.

Reply:sounds like maybe an abscess (infection). Would have to check with the dentist to be sure. May require a treatment of antibiotics.
