My school dentist told me that about my wisdom tooth ... help pls /..?
Are you sure he said this? He ought to be fired! I've had wisdom teeth removed and they didn't do it this way. Of course, in the USA we go to private dentists and pay a lot of money and we don't have national health care. Still, I can't imagine why the dentist tried to frighten you so. See if you can get information from another dentist before you have the procedure.
Reply:Dentists have a way of doing it ~ much less scary than the school dentist told you ~ Its garbage ~

Any sensitive dentist will do it as easily as he can, with injections and maybe even sedation. I had mine out ~ and I woke up in another room ~ after sedation ~ Talk to your dentist or call and get a referral to have them removed. You may have trouble swallowing but its not bad ~ honestly ~ some even give you pain medications ~ dont listen to the school dentist ~

They dont break your jaw ~ my my my !
Reply:I still have my wisdoms..and never had a problem..every dentist wants to yank them..but why when there is nothing wrong.
Reply:I had 4 surgically removed. The doc gave me a valium, then injections, and nitrous. I was awake during it, but I didn't care what was going on because of the nitrous. It wasn't scary. Maybe this is what they are going to do to you? I don't know if nitrous is considered sedation, so they might be going to give you that. Good luck! From my experience, it was not bad.
