What to do about a cavity?

I dont have much money to get it fixed. and the local clinic, the dentist there doesn't care and all his fillings fall out.

What to do about a cavity?
Find a dentist that will set up a payment plan. stay away from drugs like meth or you will have a HUGE problem.
Reply:get the tooth pulled before you get an infection
Reply:OK, go to the clinic and tell the "bad" dentist that you want a temporary filling. THEN that should buy you maybe up to 6 mos to save up for a filling at another dentist. it shouldn't be more than $250 or so.

good luck!
Reply:go to dental college where u get free or in concession workdone.
Reply:I agree with Dr. Nate. Have them use a material called IRM. It'll definitly buy time. Ive had some patient's go for a year before the tooth was permanently repaid. Finances can change in that time. Also, depending on the length of time it took before the fillings fell out, you might be able to negotiate a discount.

Good luck!
Reply:before you get the tooth pulled (as an absolute last resort) - if it's just a small cavity you should be able to go for a while - just brush your teeth more - look for dental schools, dental hygiene schools, not sure how old you are - are you eligible for medicaid or any other state funded insurance - some teaching hospitals have their own insurance - you may not have to pay for it - you just get to see Dr's, and Dentists for a small co-pay. Have a yard sale, can you do some chores for other people to raise some $. Do you have a healthcare for the homeless clinic where you live?
