I lived in South Dakota from Jan 01, 2007 to Feb. 29, 2008. I also owned a house in Iowa, which I maintained (mowed grass twice a month).
My employer was a South Dakota Business. My Employer didn't take out Iowa taxes from my pay check once I moved to South Dakota., South Dakota has no state income tax,
My car and drivers license as well as my voting registration remained IOWA. My mailing address was South Dakota and I did business with the local South Dakota business', visited local doctors and dentists. I also had to pay the South Dakota Sales Tax, even on my pharmacy items.
Days spent in South Dakota (313 days), Iowa (52 days).
Do I have to file an Iowa Income Tax form ?
Tax Filing... Do I have to file an Iowa Return?
I don't think so
