Okay, I'm a heart patient. I've had several open heart surgeries (to replace valves and stuff..I was born with 3 holes in my heart. The last surgery was almost 2 years ago, and there will be more to come.) I am not on any medicines now, because I'm doing really good. (The cardiologist told me this will be the healthiest I will ever be, I'll be 20 next month.) But, what I want to know is, if I could get my nose pierced. I have my once a year cardiology appointment and I'm going to ask her. Also, I already have the antibiotics, which I had my local physician call in for me. (2000mgs. The same amount I take before the dentist.) If you're a heart patient (not just a murmur, but like substancial heart problems.) and you've gotten yours pierced, how did it go? How did you heal? Any complications?
And if you don't have heart problems, if you could send me a link for an article on this subject, I'd appreciate it! I couldn't find many articles over heart patients and nose piercings :(

I dont have an answer for you, Im sorry, but your question I just had to respond to! I am also a heart patient mirtal valve replacement, and I am HAPPY to see you are aware of the ups and downs we have to go thru! I would ask your cardio doc, even give him a call to ask, but its great to see your aware of the complications us heart people have to go thru for something as sinple as a peircing! Good luck!
